Certain questions get asked on a regular basis, hopefully a few of them are answered here.
1) WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?
The price varies according to the type of event. We wouldn't charge the same for a private function - say a wedding
or a special birthday or anniversary as we would for a Civic Ball, a Corporate Event or a college ball. So, you may get a pleasant surprise. However, don't expect it to be cheap, it is live enterainment after all. Just contact us and we can negotiate.
2) HOW LONG DO YOU PLAY FOR?
As long as you want really. Most private functions want two sets, with the second one being a bit more up and at 'em. In those circumstances we do 45 minutes and then after a break we do a minimum one hour second
set. 95% of the second set is music for dancing.
3) WHAT SORT OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?
Check out the repertoire pages on this site, but basically we play a range from rock and soul through ska, country, traditional and even novelty.
YOU DO A FULL EVENING IF REQUIRED?
Yes we can provide a disco as well as the band.
5) DO YOU DO BENEFITS?
Yes, our annual anniversary show is always a benefit and we usually manage to raise around £2000 on the night. Over the years
we have done a lot of benefits and charity balls for which we negotiate extremely advantageous rates. We can do your fundraising activities on the night such as auction etc.
6) HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
We have travelled all over the country and
even a couple of times to Germany. Naturally the further away the event the more it costs and whilst we think we're unique and great etc, so are lots of other bands, there may be one on your doorstep. We are happy to consider anything, anywhere though.
7) WHAT SIZE VENUE WOULD WE NEED?
We can fit into village halls, theatres, ballrooms etc, size really doesn't matter.
